They provide lifetime resistance to corrosive acids, saline spray, and biological degradation with zero rust or maintenance painting needed.

Unlike aluminum and steel, GRP ladders do not corrode in chlorinated or saline environments, will never spark upon impact, and do not conduct electricity. They are lighter to install, require zero maintenance coatings, and deliver a longer service life in aggressive chemical conditions.
In accordance with standard industrial safety guidelines (such as OSHA and BS standards), vertical ladders exceeding 3.0 meters (or 2.5 meters in certain municipal codes) should be fitted with safety cage hoops and vertical straps to prevent fall hazards.
